Dr. Michael Holmes

Irondequoit Office

Dr. Holmes is a board certified pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He received his Ph.D. in anatomy from the University of Maryland, and his M.D. from the Chicago Medical School. Following his residency in pediatrics at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Dr. Holmes spent a year as a critical care fellow at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Hospital. As a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Rochester, Dr. Holmes actively teaches medical students and pediatric residents at Strong and RGH, and sees newborns at Strong and RGH. He enjoys boating, woodworking, music and skiing.

Dr. Roderick Davis

Dr. Davis is a board certified pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. After attending St. John’s University College of Pharmacy, Dr. Davis completed M.S. degrees in Psychology and Zoology at SUNY Binghamton. He received his M.D. from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, and stayed in Rochester to complete his pediatric residency at Strong. Dr. Davis is a Clinical Instructor in Pediatrics at the University of Rochester. He sees newborns at Strong, RGH, and Highland Hospital. Dr. Davis enjoys golf, photography, and being a gym rat.

Dr. Chad Preston

Dr. Preston is a board certified pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has been practicing primary care pediatrics since 2005. As a Rochester native, he received a B.S. in Genetics from Cornell University, then obtained his M.D. from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City in 2002. He then returned to complete his residency in pediatrics at the Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong, and now is a Clinical Instructor in Pediatrics at the University of Rochester. He sees newborns at Strong, RGH, Highland Hospital, and Unity Hospital. Dr. Preston enjoys playing guitar, reading, and hockey. The Prestons have two children.

Dr. Amanda Llyod

Dr. Lloyd is a board certified pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. As an upstate NY native, she earned her BS degree in biology from St. Bonaventure University. She received her MD from SUNY Upstate in Syracuse. She then returned to the area to complete her residency in pediatrics at the Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong, and is a Clinical Instructor in Pediatrics at the University of Rochester. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, working on fused glass jewelry, and spending time with her husband and two children.
